Unboxed Orchestra: Music With Purpose             Founded in 2020 by Lawrence Beamen, a distinguished National Recording Artist and Top 5 Finalist on NBC's America's Got Talent, Unboxed Orchestra merges artistic excellence with social purpose. The inspiration struck during Beamen's birthday celebration in Maui, where he envisioned creating something truly transformative.

The name "Unboxed" reflects Beamen's vision of unleashing confined talent waiting to be discovered. "I imagined all this incredible musical potential packaged away, untapped and unheard, that needed to be UNBOXED," explains Beamen.

Central to this vision was Beamen's partnership with Brett Strader, a brilliant arranger, composer, and classical music conductor. Strader's exceptional musical sophistication perfectly complements Beamen's versatility across Classical, R&B, Soul, and Gospel genres. "When Brett accepted my invitation," Beamen recalls, "I recognized the extraordinary potential of our collaboration. His musical brilliance, coupled with his genuine passion for the transformative power of music, creates a synergy that transcends conventional artistic boundaries."

Beamen's journey toward founding Unboxed Orchestra was shaped by a pivotal performance for civil rights icon Rosa Parks when he was 17. "That singular moment crystallized my understanding that music could serve as a catalyst for meaningful social change," he reflects. This insight guided his artistic development through rigorous vocal training and, following his America's Got Talent success, led him to explore the intersection of psychology and music.
